The Processing Preparation Technician is responsible for bucking incoming raw material, running it through our dry trim machine, and loading it into storage bins for our trimmers to then manicure.
Key Responsibilities:
Efficiently remove stalks and large leaves from raw dry material
Responsible for keeping track of weights throughout bucking/machine process
Responsible for maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse while performing duties
Confidently identify contaminants in material Including; Mold, P.M, and Botrytis
Responsible for maintaining quality products
Operate with integrity and honesty
Communicate known issues to the management team to ensure a smooth flow of operations within the company
Responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of all staging areas.
May be assigned other job duties as necessary.
Skills:
Ability to work hands on with cannabis for a 10 hour shift
Knowledge and familiarity with cannabis
Familiarity with cannabis contaminants
Works in a timely manner and strives to increase productivity
Demonstrate passion for serving the cannabis community
Ability to work within a team and without
Experience in a complex, fast-paced environment
Organization and planning skills
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
Basic weights and measurement skills, ability to operate a scale
Requirements:
Thorough understanding of cannabis work and industry
High School Diploma or equivalent
Cannabis experience required, 1-2 years
Detail-oriented with good math skills
Maintain an excellent attendance record
Ability to read and interpret written and oral instructions
